Modified 1969 to 1975 Corvette restored tilt telescopic steering column

Description

Normally I build NCRS correct columns but this one is an option for you if it meets your needs:
This column is a one off for someone not using the backdrive assembly and is 1 inch shorter to the steering wheel for additional room.
Pictures show the column main parts painted black. One shows the cut off lever on the tilt tube.
Away from July 30 to August 9. Can ship by end of August.

The details:
The column will look correct for 1969 to 1975 Corvettes just 1 inch shorter inside the cabin. The mast assembly is 78 to 82 modified to look the same as 69 to 76. The tilt bowl, lock housing, etc are all correct. In the engine bay there will be no lever for the backdrive---which locks the shifter.
Lock housing has oval "lock" logo, correct for 1972 to 1975. Black hazard tulip. Chrome early style can be substituted. 72 to 74 tilt and turn signal levers are included, late 69 to 71 can be substituted.
The stickers shown are only used on NCRS correct columns.
Black is standard, but you can specify your year and interior color. This may delay the shipping date based on availability.
I added a few pics of the unrestored column next to a blue restored one to show you the differences in this column versus stock.
This is NOT a column using 78 to 82 upper parts as Ive seen done in the past.
Im pricing it lower due to the changes i made, using an extra tilt bowl shaft that has the backdrive lever cut off, and modifying a 78 to 82 jacket. The parts for 1969 to 1976 columns are getting very expensive and harder to find. Normally i build NCRS correct columns, but i wanted to offer this lower cost option. Minor repairs(not visible) may be done to some of the parts but will not affect appearance or functionality.

The column comes with all parts, and all mechanical portions of the column will be refurbished. Any new parts needed will be provided.
I am meticulous as far as cosmetic issues, and spend a lot of time making sure the upper painted surfaces are excellent, and use the correct color code Corvette paint.
